Good value for money tool, easy and safe to use, perfect for domestic garden use.
The fuel/2 stroke oil mixing bottle is a great extra (supplied with unit).
Bad Points
Strap on the light side for the machine.
No "off the shelf" spare parts availability (see below).
Bit of a hassle changing from brushcutter to strimmer mode.
General Comments
Having used this Spear & Jackson SPJBC28 for over a year now mainly as a brushcutter, both in the garden and for heavier tasks , it has proved to be reliable and up to the tasks asked of it. So much so I have just purchased the new S+J 30cc petrol strimmer.
I needed an new primmer button (those pesky mice) which was sourced from the spare part supplier listed in the literature supplied.
