Good Points

This moped is built much stronger than any other mopeds I have seen or ridden. After being dropped three times, my ludix has no damage whatsoever to show for it, yet a friend of mine came off their speedfight, and the entire right hand fairing was cracked. It is a very simple moped, and has very little to go wrong on it. The true essence of a twist and go.

Bad Points

The base model (the one I have) has no battery. Which is fine, as it has a kick start and all the necessary electrical equipment is run from an alternator. However a result of this is that the horn is very weedy sounding, and the headlight is quite weak. I find that I have to keep the revs up a little at traffic lights if I am signalling left or right. It is possible, however, to purchase an upgrade kit which will sort out all of these little problems.

General Comments

I have had my Peugeot Ludix for almost 2 years now, and it is still running as brilliantly as new (better, as the engine needed breaking in at first) and I have had no problems at all with it. Insurance and tax are cheap, and so long as it is kept serviced, there shouldn't be any problems with it at all.
