Bad Points

Customer service. I find the staff unpleasant.


General Comments

I have been with Orange and www.orange.co.uk for a period of five years now. Saying this, I know that it is going to end now. On numerous occasions I feel Orange Customer Service have let me down. But this time it is just one time too many. Last year in June I was running around from institution to institution to finish everything on time before going away to Australia for one year. I have also spoke to Orange to arrange my contract suspension. A member of the Customer Care team reassured me that there is no reason to worry as all have been taken care for me now. Contract is suspended until further notice. And that I can continue my contract after my return from Australia. They advised me to ring them around January'08 though (6 months post the suspension) to ensure that the suspension is extended until my return. On the 23rd of January'08 I called Orange Customer Care from Sydney, Australia. The person on the other side of the line assured me that again there is no reason to worry as all have been taken care of. Contract is suspended until further notice. Not until last month I have been sent a bill by Orange despite previous promises. When spoke to Orange Customer Care on this occasion I have been told that they can't find any notes on my account and so they are unable to help me. I'm half way across the world and still have to worry about my Orange Services.
