So many songs to collect. Wide variety of neighbors to have. A ton of bugs/fish/furniture to collect.
Bad Points
You have to force yourself to keep playing on a daily basis or weeds grow in your town.
General Comments
I didn't have any idea what to expect when I got this Animal Crossing the gamecube game. What the heck is this game about? How do you play? What's the objective? As soon as I started playing, my questions were answered. A magnificent game was discovered right before my very own eyes. I was once again experiencing the glory of gaming.
Your character can do many things in your very own village. You can catch bugs, you can catch fish, and here's the worst part, you work...For a scary looking racoon. This racoon is Tom Nook. His name gets quite annoying after a while. You live in one of Tom Nook's houses. So it's obvious what you must do for him. Pay him debt. But after your debts. are paid off, he offers you expansions. After all, who can live in a house like the one at the beginning of the game?
One of my favorite things to do in this game is whack my neighbor in the head with my net. This ticks them off, but leave the acre, and come back after a while, and they'll act like it never happened no matter how many times you whacked 'em in the first place.
Another cool thing in the game is how time works. Time flies as fast/slow as it does in real life. On special occasions (usually holidays) Tortimer, the village mayor, will give you stuff. At other times, such as X-mas, a special visitor will give you stuff. Or just cheat you.
The absolute best part of the game is when you pay off all your debt for all the expansions. I'm not gonna spoil it for you, so find out yourself!
