Good Points

Cheap sending money from USA to Spain (41 dollars to send 2500 dollars).
Fast. Convenient.
I would use the service again.

Bad Points

None that I can think of. The price was quite reasonable.

General Comments

Long story short my debit card was canceled from the states and I had to have money sent to me from Palo Alto, California, USA to Madrid, Spain. I decided to try Moneygram, despite the negative review above. Well, my experience has been fantastic.
In the states, the sender paid 41 dollars to send 2100 dollars. The location was a Longs Drugs store in Palo Alto. The next day, I woke up, walked down the street to the bank that they sent the wire to, here in Madrid, and after 20 minutes filling out a couple of forms with my passport info, they handed me the money.
A suggestion: on the Moneygram website they will give you multiple locations from which you can receive the money. For ex, where I live in Madrid there were 8 different locations. Do yourself a favor and choose a receiving area that is a formal bank or institution. I sent mine to a bank here in Madrid.
Would use the service again for sure.
