Bad Points

Timing Chain.


General Comments

I am another person whose timing chain has gone on a Nissan Micra 03 plate. The car has done 47,000 miles and is serviced each year. The Nissan dealership state that it is due to lack of oil in the car. The garage where the car is serviced confirms that they change the oil and oil filter as standard procedure. Nissan Micra will not admit that there is a manufacturing problem with the timing chain. I will be contacting the Trading Standards people and will also be in contact with watchdog. Again anybody having problems with timing chains get in contact with consumer and trading standards people. Nissan need to take responsibility for this problem. I will never purchase a Nissan again and would not recommend them to anybody else!!
