Good Points

- Light weight
- Easy Loading
- Decent Power
-inexpensive

Bad Points

-Cheaply made
-Not enough shooting distance & power for some
- Single Shot pellet only
- Beginners airgun, no way can this be considered a hunting airgun EVER, it's merely a child's toy compared to current High end Air rifles that can shoot up to 1250 FPS, those things can take out raccoons + beavers + badgers with one well placed shot if you have the right pellet, general rule of shooting:

.177 for feather

.22 for Fur

Sadly, this airgun has a weak single shot .177, it's power is also low, less than 3 FPE

General Comments

The Crosman Auto Air 2 was also my first air gun. At the time I thought it was the best thing ever. I had no problem disposing of diet coke cans (full, we shook them up and shot them and watched them Fly or explode). Due to the low power, whenever I shot at a beer or soda bottle, the bb's would bounce off immedietly, no harm done to the bottle, only a slight tilt of its side was visible. .177 pellets were also weak compared to today's mid range air pistols, which in turn are Squirt guns compared to Air rifles. I had to point out that I did like the quick loading straw and immpressive bb' count, 17 or 18 as I remember. This air pistol is great for younger people, it's fairly weak and the range is terrible, the only good thing about this gun is it's simplicity and weight.
