Incredibly light-I bought it for my 89 year old mother. It gives her the independence she wants to vacuum her own carpets. Very easy to empty-a slide out tray, almost like a crumb tray on a toaster.
Bad Points
For our purposes I couldn't find any. Probably it would not be effective for heavily soiled carpets-but for light use it is perfect.
General Comments
I found this in a garden centre and probably paid too much for it but my mother was so pleased I don't mind. I had never heard of it before and I have bought two other 'light' vacuum cleaners which were far too heavy for her to use and too difficult to empty. Certainly effective-right up to edge of carpet- emptying the tray lets you see how well it lifts.
