Good Points

Very good location and choice of food in the Santana restaurant. Staff friendly.


Bad Points

Cleanliness, repairs not carried out, dirty bedding. Lots of steps to get to the rooms


General Comments

We visited on 16 may 2008. The first 2 rooms we were allocated were both dirty, the floors looked like they had not been mopped, light fittings, switches and wiring were of a very poor standard, we asked if we could change rooms. We were told we could change rooms the next day so spent a sleepless night, fully dressed lying on our own towels. The next day we were given 2 more rooms which were in no better condition than the original rooms we had been allocated (i.e. big cracks in the sink, dirty showers and bad smells from the drains). We contacted the rep from Jewel in the Crown who could not have been more helpful and within hours our move to the Pine Valley Hotel had been arranged for the next morning. The move cost us additional money but was well worth it.
