Lots of space inside
Sluggish, Guzzles fuel, expensive to service/maintain
I have just traded in a Vauxhall Frontera (M reg) after only 3 months. It was very comfortable inside and didn't have a patch of rust.
Mr Frontera was costing me a fortune to use as a run-around.
I travelled about 17 miles a day every day and it was costing me £55 per week every week. Yes ! I did have it serviced, which incidently cost me £170 for a basic oil/air filter and window wiper blades.
The most important point I would like to make though is that in wet/snowy weather it slipped and slid everywhere despite the fact that I had good wrangler off road tyres on it. I totally lost my confidence driving it and traded it in for a smaller car.
Don't get me wrong,if your set on getting a Frontera, then you should get one and not be put off by people bad-mouthing them. I just wish I had done a little research before buying mine, because with the older models bad reputation is well deserved.
