Good Points

Quiet.
Looks Good.


Bad Points

Unreliable - 2 faults in first 3 months including a faulty icemaker which flooded our kitchen
Poor Customer Service - hard to contact (average wait more than 5 mins) - unsupportive and slow to respond.
Value for money is poor.


General Comments

I have had to go through the retailer, trading standards and my insurance company to sort out a replacement product. Maytag had no need to be so difficult - I reckon they hope that you will give up trying - well don't! It was a cut and dry case under the Sale of Goods Act - the product was not of satisfactory quality and not fit for purpose. Internal communication seems to be poor - you end up saying the same thing over and over to more than one person. I never had a response to an email and a letter sent to Customer Service.
