Found booking the car via the internet easy to do (we live in the UK). We were met at the airport. Car had clearly been serviced with new oil prior to collection and never let us down in the 5 weeks and 3625 miles we had it.
Bad Points
The hand book was in Japanese not good if you had a problem
General Comments
Ours was a one way hire Auckland to Christchurch. Dropped the car off in Christchurch and was taken by mini bus to the airport. Scotties may not use brand new cars but they are value for money and I would use them again.
