sitting on the aircraft for over 4 hours with little information, eventually they came round with a refreshing cup of luke warm water. They then told us all to get off and come back tomorrow.
I promised myself years ago I would never fly with monarch again after going to India. We were delayed for 48 hours this time, aircraft was not able to fly due to engine fault, this we understand, but we were kept misinformed. We were shuffled here there and every where. We checked into hotel monarch had provided, we were told to check out at 9am as plane will be flying at miday, at 10 pm we eventually got on the coach to go to airport. Sat at airport for 2 hours, then told plane was not ready, and to go back to hotel. We then sat outside airport for 6 hours until our bus came. Not a sole from monarch got in touch in the 48 hours we were there.
