This was an excellent book...I read it when I just turned eleven, which I think is the perfect age to read it because when I read it a few weeks ago it seemed a little childish and too easy. But anyway, I think my favourite part of "The Story Of Tracy Beaker" had to be when she talks about her mother and about all the cool stuff they'll do together when her mum comes to get her. It's great and Jacqueline has really thought of how to structure her book. She's looked into an eleven year old's imaginative mind and altogether, it was a really creative book to read.
Bad Points
Hmm...not many bad points to fill in this box! If Jacqueline had to improve on anything, I think it would be to include more adults in the story. That way, the reader can get an idea of how Tracy's life isn't just centered around her yearning for her mother, or how much she hates all the kids in the dumping ground.
General Comments
GREAT BOOK! =)
Read it or get it out at the library if you're under the age of eleven...or you may find it too babyish. But at the age of twelve I still liked reading the creative bits in the story! Thanks for reading this...hope it helps! x x x
