Have decent affiliated airlines: Lufthansa, SAS etc. If it were not for these airlines, we would still be in Chicago.
Late departure due to mechanical problems, then refuse to comp for overnight stay and meals because of missed connections. Late departure due to weather, missed connecting flight by 2 hours, were given run around between United, SAS then back to United. United had the reissued tickets all along, just sent us on a merry goose chase.
Some of the employees can be rude. Others are kind and very helpful and at the same time driven to improve by mistakes. For a 12 hour flight, we were delayed 48 hours and had to make 3 stops instead of one, due to mechanical, ticket errors and 3 missed connections.
Was a nightmare!
