The TT225 stands the test of time. Drive one and you'll realize that it pounds the payment in every weather condition. 9 years later since its release as a concept car... it still stands up to everything out there ! German Perfection!
225 model is difficult to find performance enhancing upgrades for since everything out there is swung towards the 180.
For an everyday car... young professional... all that it lacks is space in the trunk... it is meant for a certain kind of individual... the kind that likes smooth clean lines and reliable looks. Of course there are newer cars out there... please don't say the 350Z... it looks weak!!! Yes the Porsche 911 is the stand alone... and the TT was the first to deviate the automobile design world... ask yourself... 15 years from now... when it becomes a classic... why didn't you hang onto one?
