Needs staff training,
I bought a oven hob 5 weeks ago from Comet and took extra insurance cover for accidental damage. The sales assistant told us it was new for old and that it would be replaced in the store if accident was to happen. This was not to be, I dropped a oven hood on top of the hob and it smashed to pieces I took it back to the store to be told it would have to be sent away before we could have a new one, and that could take up to 2 weeks. The insurance would no longer be valid for future accidents so therefore we would have to take another insurance out if we wanted an other cover. I will no longer buy from comet again. The sales assistants push for you to take extra cover and it doesn't mean anything after you claim.
