Rude management, lack of communication
It appears that we are not alone when delivering letters by hand to the reception cancelling our membership which then go missing, copies of the letter were then provided only to be accused that it could have been back dated. The communication was non existent, we contacted DL at Nursling, Southampton by e.mail, telephone and received no response, we e.mailed DL at Birmingham management - no response, we e.mailed and sent a registered letter to the Head Office at Hatfield - no response, contact was eventually made by ourselves after constantly ringing DL. To-day we received a letter from a Debt Collection Agency stating that we still owed three months money, where in actual fact we had paid the alleged outstanding amount 4 weeks previously and continue to be members (unfortunately) until the end of June. To summarise it would appear that DL obviously pay their management peanuts(you can come to your own conclusion) as it seems they are incapable of operating filing systems, replying to e.mails, their telephone manner is non existant due to the fact they have not returned calls when they say they will.
To anyone thinking of joining DL, from our experience we wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole!
