Good Points

Easy to use; price is good ; uncluttered remote; (supposedly) all-write, though it rejects several brand-name discs; has different A/V I/O, s-video I/O,and optical audio output; works reasonably well.


Bad Points

Eject tray sticks sometimes; loading disc takes awhile; does not accept all discs(especially DVD-RW); playback after timer recording does a weird pause from time to time which is very annoying; optical audio output does not work well (blocks out sound to the receiver)


General Comments

I have had the recorder for almost 10 months now and it seems fine for the most part, and the price was right. I was able to transfer tapes from VHS to DVD. The operation is not as crisp as I would like it to be (compared with a Daewoo player that I also have, however, the remote on the Lite-on is better). It seems like a good basic recorder. It remains to be seen how well it stands the test of time.
