Looks the dogs dangley bits, impresses people believe me! Fantastic picture, possibly the best on the market.
Flickering with DVD, very minor and the same with most TV's like this to be honest, and plasmas.
This Loewe Aconda Living TV has to be one of the best available today, it has many features and the quality is amazing, both build and picture!! But then again, what do you expect from the Germans, especially since Loewe developed the first electronic television!!! They were the first, and still are the best. I did a lot of research before I purchased my beast, and it wins hands down.
Other good points include the basic sound! I have a home cinema receiver and surround sound speakers (proper ones, not the lame ones Sony give you with their TV's!!!) so I didn't want to pay for those terrible so called "surround sound" speakers you get with other brands.
Split screen feature is usless, but impresses your friends!!! One thing that does annoy me is the fact it makes people fat when it's on 16:9 picture, all wide screens do this, and it drives me mad, why can't everyone transmit in 16:9 dammit!!! I think only channel 1 and maybe 2 do at the moment???
