A bit complicated initially but once the learning curve is over all is well.
I have helped friends set up broadband with 'normal' phone lines and not once got anywhere near cable for reliability or speed. Most of them have converted to cable.
During the learning curve I did use the help center in India 3 or 4 times.
On one occasion I was told to go through the same wrong set up 5 times. I gave up and tried later. This time the chap was great. 3 minutes - job done.
I have 4 PC's, all can be connected to Virgin cable. They all work quite fast enough for me. Full screen video from the BBC news. After a rotten BT line for many years struggling to get 40kb from dialup it is pure heaven to get such a great service. If I can't get a decent connection on dial up what chance is there with BT broadband or any other non cable system. Virgin is not the cheapest but in my opinion, with over 30 years with computers, it is good value. I am still confused why it gets such a bad write up. Mass finger trouble no doubt.
