Orange charges 15p every connection, so if you phone someone and they are unavailable i.e no signal or the phone is switched off, you are charged 15p to listen to the answer phone message, this becomes quite expensive when you repeatedly attempt to call them as the answer phone kicks in after about 20 secs

re orange pay as you go: now that you can access your usage on your account on pay as you go, you can see how they are charging 15p for 2secs/ 3secs.
