New 777 aircraft. Lay Flat seats in First. New IFE
Flight was late
I flew AC round trip from YYZ-NRT. The New 777 is awesome. The flight out had a plane go MX so we had to wait for a 777 to come in from LHR to replace ours. A total of a 4 hr delay. We missed connections but it was alright spending the night in Japan before going on to the Philippines. So the flight there the crew seemed very rushed. But thats expected when you try to turn such a large aircraft when one went MX. Once we got in the air, my IFE did not work so i asked if i could change seats and they said that would be fine. The rest of the flight was great.
The way back was amazing. On time, and i slept the whole flight basicly so you cant go wrong with that.
I have 8/10 for the delay, because I felt that the airline did a good job at managing the delay. Obviously MX issues are not in their control, however how they deal with it is. Meal vouchers were given, and hotels were arranged in Japan
