Much lighter than the Krups chrome finish model. I found the lid very easy to take on and off which was one of the reasons I bought it.
Bad Points
You have to pull in the trigger switch the whole time you are pouring water out through the spout.
General Comments
Used for the first time today and I am very pleased. You can add water straight through the spout or you can remove the lid and add in that way. I feel that the first thing to go on this will be the trigger - time will tell whether it lasts me for years or not.
