General Comments

Had my Nissan Navara 54 plate from new, reg serviced and more than happy with it, had new clutch at 52k so not bad got to 74k and loud knocking from engine called AA out said it could be injectors as I had been use some cooking oil seemed plausible but he advised me to take it to Nissan just in case so had it take there by the AA and explained to Nissan that it could be injectors and I had used some cooking oil!! Sorry bio fuel. Well they had it for about a week cleaned fuel lines/filter said knocking not as loud could be just a stinking value that might free its self if I ran engine on normal fuel for a while or it could be something in the engine prob big end if so) and if that was the case would need new engine as to expensive to strip down and repair not once did they mention con rods and because out of warranty nothing they could do about it. Charged me £200 for the pleasure and sent me on my way, Well went to garage filled up full tank got 2 miles down the road and BANG smoke and oil every where and pieces of engine that should be inside were out side!, phoned nissan but ha ho would you like to bring it in new engine £6000.
