Just as they say "no hassle".
I visited The Car People in Ashton mid week, it was quiet and there were 5 - 6 sales people in the showroom (which you have to go through to get to where the cars are), however apart from saying hello; not one of them hassled us. We were free to roam around and have a good look at all the cars on the lot. Which is set out really well in sections such as super mini, family, 4 x 4 etc. Back in the showroom they have computer terminals so that you can check stock from all over the group. We did this as we couldn't find what we were looking for outside. The computers are easy to search and even bring up the pictures if available. I found a car that was undergoing preparation at Manchester (which meant that it has just arrived and not been yet been prepared to go on show). This was no problem for the car people they still let me have a look and even offered to let me have a test drive. The price seemed fair, but I wanted to look around to make sure. The next day I must have drove 60-70 miles to different dealerships. But the Car People had the best price. When I arrived back at the Car People, I saw the same guy who remembered me from the previous visit, the sign up was faultless and easy ( £200 deposit takes the car off sale). In summary car supermarkets have had bad press but I would recommend The Car People to anyone looking for great cars at fantastic prices.
