Some of the new ideas are great, for example the fact that when you get on a bike he puts on a helmet (if you give him time).
Some of the missions are immense.
Thats the problem, only some of the missions are immense, you find yourself doing the same sort of thing over and over again on most levels.
Like someone said you need some countryside. The time they must have spent on things like comedians in those clubs that no one is really interested in sitting and watching could have been time spent making a new setting away from the city for a while. Think how much everyone enjoyed it when CJ got left in the middle of nowhere on San Andreas! So much to explore! It was still pretty good though.
