We had our shed broken into 3 times in 1 week. Approx £1000 worth of goods stolen.

Halifax use a company called Aquilo to validate your claim. Every time I phoned them it was like an interrogation and they made ME feel like a criminal.

They said they can not pay out unless:
a) I had receipts - yeah right, who keeps receipts?
b) I had manuals - they were in a toolbox in the shed (stolen)
c) They asked if I had any photographs of my husband using the equipment - WHAT??????

I would advise you to stay away. Tesco are a much better insurer, had to claim for storm damage to my roof with them, had no problems whatsoever.
