General Comments

Can't believe other people have had problems with 1stquote.co.uk documents, thought it was just me. Had to reply because couldn't believe how widespread this seems to be. Didn't receive the correct documents for over a year, Have informed them of my new address 5 times. Then when i did get them my premium had doubled! Phoned them and after 20 mins of my lunch break, they answered and said someone had made a 3000 pound claim against me, all without my knowledge as i received no paperwork. Is this normal practise?

    The same thing has just happened to me. I phoned 1st quote to ask why my insurance policy quote had almost tripled. The person I was speaking to said it was because I had been involved in a multi car pile up incident which was not the case, so I checked and found it to be incorrect. I decided to quit and cancel any further transactions with them as my policy expired anyway the following week. Later I received their letter of notification canceling it but 2 days into a first new month after it had already expired. Then some days later a further letter that the already cancelled policy was to be cancelled again.
