Unbeatable value for money
Clarity at extreme zoom not great
I own two 3-9x40 scopes, the other being a BSA so my review is based on the comparison between them. The SMK scope is well built and has a good clear field of view upto the high extremity of zoom (8-9x) where it starts to become a little dull and almost milky especially in low light however overall in use it does all you ask of it and the zoom ring although starting off quite stiff soon becomes easy to use. Although I usually favour using the BSA I really would recommend buying the SMK especially if your starting out or on a tight budget because for a minimal payout (around £25) you get a very good scope.
