Good Points

Fast turnaround of titles. Very fast in fact.
Huge selection of DVD's


Bad Points

Difficulty in sometimes getting top choice DVD's straight away


General Comments

I am surprised by some of the poor reviews about Blockbuster. I have found them to be an excellent provider and in many cases better than Lovefilm.

While I am no longer a member (not because the service was bad, simply because I just wasn't watching enough films to warrant the fee), the period I was a subscriber I was never without a DVD.

I think the thing that impressed me most about Blockbuster was how quickly titles would be turned around. No sooner had I returned them, I'd be notified that a new one would be on its way in the mail. Next morning the blue envelope would drop through my door.

The only drawback to the service (and one which Lovefilm also seems to suffer from) is that getting titles from the top of your queue can be difficult - especially if your top choices happen to be popular titles or recent releases.

All in all though, I would thoroughly recommend Blockbuster.
