Torque is fantastic. Smooth effortless cruising. Definently a sports tourer. 500+ kilometres a day every day even a 1000k some days.Handles well with a sticky front tyre.Travels well on dirt roads.(I am in Western Australia). Fast in the twisties if you use no more than half to 2/3 its power, then can play up.But then I am not Agostino.
Bad Points
Dont like high tail, prefer Hayabusa hump. Exhaust should be under seat or at least smaller mufflers. Way too big.Cover over the tank or extend the seat up the tank as it gets cold hugging all that steel and fuel.
General Comments
I have a red 2006 model, still stock.
Top sports tourer. Needs top roads to cruise at 200+
km/h which it could do in safety and comfort.
Poweful gutsy motor pulls like a train without having to rev its guts out. Climbs hills with little or no extra throttle. Long day rides of hundreds of miles is a breeze. High speed cruising on West Australian back roads which are little better than in darkest Africa, it feels safe with fantastic brakes.
LOOKS are personal but I would like it to have a rear like the Haybusa with adjustable bars and smaller mufflers and a bit lower.
Excellent smooth grunty bike that is easy to ride that you do not have to rev. Feels like a big V8 or Ferrari.
