Its hard to find any
A semi automatic that produced 9 jams out of 25 shoots in the field.
Don't buy one of these until they sort out the problems great concept but totally fails to deliver.
I purchased a new 105CT in March 2007 having read a positive review in a local dealers magazine and because the new technology seemed to be particularly suitable for a shooter like me who is right handed but has a left dominant eye and shoots off the left shoulder.
My first use of it was on duck shooting opening weekend 2007 and for a start it seemed ok but then it started to jam every so often getting worse as time went on. I thought it could just be the newness of the gun so I did not panic right away.
I did no shooting over our summer and so did not use the gun again until a few weeks before our 2008 duck shooting season when i went to shoot clays to get my eye in. I used 3 inch magnum rounds and it jammed every second or third time. After that I contacted the dealer I purchased it from to see if they were aware of any problems and when they werent I contacted the local importer directly to discover that there was a known problem and that they could fix it easily. So after the repairs had been carried out I set off for opening day 2008. On opening day I fired my first 25 shots and it jammed 9 times causing me to miss several ducks and to become very frustrated.. I then put it away in its case and changed to my backup gun. If it had not cost me so much i would have thrown it in the pond!.I got online and found this review site and was alarmed at how bad the reviews were thanks to those who have already posted theirs! Later I contacted the local importer, expressed my displeasure and arranged to return the gun and swap it for a left hand G3 1100 (the first ones imported into NewZealand) which no one seems to have a bad thing to say about. Both the Dealer and importer were great to deal with and the problems is now resolved but the gun is rubbish and I am still very disappointed by the experience. Still have to do some shooting with the G3 1100 and will post my review on that once I am qualified to comment. I am so greatful for this site where the reviews are not just repeating the manufacturers promotional garbage.
