Scenic 1.9Dti. Bought new in 4/2001. Avg. fuel consumption 5.5 l/100km. Lots of space, rear seats removable. Now 96.00km on the clock. Can run at 130km/h all day. Great visibility. 50 000kms with 1st set of tyres.
Bad Points
Rear window washer has never worked properly. Exhaust pipe fell off at 56 000kms...welding failed. No cruise control (a must for long motorway trips)
General Comments
The Renault Scenic 1.9Dci is a great car for two pensioners: Space, economy, safety. We drive every year from Spain to Finland and back (for summers). Never had a major problem.
Now switching to the new 120hp Scenic ll.
