Good Points

Bought a diesle 206 y reg in march, thought cheap to run? Sold my bomb-proof Celica.


Bad Points

The worst mistake I ever made, the 206 head gasket blew, £900 to repair.


General Comments

Sold the thing, when repaired, will NEVER buy 1 again, gone back to a Toyota Celica. Perfect.
Expensive mistake.

    Sounds like the Mk 1 206 is a bit "suspect". Mine is the Mk2 (2002 model year) version and I wonder if they ironed out the initial problems in the original design.
