Commercials, some members I personally have found to be arrogant or annoying but you get that with every website.


General Comments

Neopets is a great way to have fun, meet a lot of new people and relax.

There is a wide range of games, activities, and creative contests to play that cater for a wide range of skill levels and age groups.
There is an art contest, a poetry contest, and a storytelling contest as well as a lot of others. These contests

And because of the strict "Neorelated only" rules and active moderators on most of the neoboards it makes the site a safe place to chat.
And yes, there are some rude/obnoxious/arrogant/annoying people on the boards but there is people like that on every forum, and for the most part the users are really friendly.

The ads and things displayed on neo can get annoying but they are there to keep the site FREE and they can be easily blocked with an adblocker add on.

There is also a pay-per-use part of the site, but that part is certainly NOT required in the gameplay, and these small things (along with the ads) help to keep a majority of the content free.

All in all I certainly DO recommend you try neopets out for yourself.
