General Comments

It was love at first sight when I first sat in my Rover 75 connoisseur SE 2.0V6. From the cream leather heated seats to the burr walnut dash, the interior shouts luxury.

This car has the high line Satellite navigation unit installed. Driving around unkown cities becomes much more enjoyable whith the soft female voice giving directions. The only downside is there is little excuse for being late to an appointment.
The screen also doubles as a TV with teletext when the car is stationary.

There is also a trip computer which even tells you how far you can drive on the amount of petrol in the tank. It can also be set to warn you if you are speeding, although this gets on your nerves after a while and is now switched off.

At first the 2.0L engine felt a little underpowered, but this was down to me as I was not used to driving an automatic. Once I got used to the kickdown and found the sports mode I found this car is fast. Petrol consumpation is around 35 MPG on a longer journey. Around town it suffers with around 25 MPG. But this is to be expected of any heavy petrol engined car.

Some nice extras on the SE include an electronic rear sun blind, Instrument panel which shows you which doors are open, or if a bulb fails it tells you which one. CD multichanger. And a useful auto dipping rear view mirror.

Before buying this car I looked at several other makes including Volvo and BMW. There was just something about the Rover 75 that the others lacked.
