Good Points

These books always make me feel at home. When I have needed an anchor over the past five years I pick up one of the Cat Who books and I am OK, I have even reread all of the series at least two times.

Bad Points

The Cat Who Talked Turkey was different somehow. There was no real plot to the story. I never did get to know the characters, maybe it was just too short. I never could get into the crime that was commited in the beginning of the book.

General Comments

I really love to hear the descriptions of the characters that appear over and over again, as well as, read about the different towns in Moose County. I just couldn't get into this story. There was so much on the "Great Storm," pages of dialogue that really wasn't set up that well for me. The pages of repeated text that have appeared in other stories were not interesting. I found myself skipping pages, something I HAVE NEVER DONE in a Lillian Jackson Braun book.
