Lots of facilities, big pool, large choice of classes, nice building, free towels, shampoos, tissues, cleanser cotton wool, nice toilets, ladies only gym. Nice choice of sunbeds (stand up ones too). Separate male and female steam rooms and saunas (inside changing rooms). Communal jacuzzi by pool with nice lighting. Clean pool.
Narrow lanes in pool - leads to pool rage - not what you want when you go somewhere to relax.
Badly designed changing rooms with benches right under lockers so if someone wants to use the locker nearby you have to move all your stuff...very brightly lit too. Not what you want when walking around half dressed.
very annoying cleaners in changing rooms, constantly getting under your feet and talking to each other and staring at people getting changed. Very strange experience.
Very very very busy. Very crowded and full of kids until 6.30. If you have kids it's great, if you want peace and quiet, then forget it.
Unfriendly staff and very busy reception.
I left because I signed up for some sunbed session as there was a special offer which meant you get goggles included. I never received my goggles and for some reason that totally wound me up at the time as I was using their sunbeds a lot.
Great if you don't go to a health club to chill out. Very child friendly. Very busy. I left at the start of 2003 and revisited about a year ago. I was taken on a tour and could see no improvements but rather it looked even busier and less relaxed than before, including needing a bit of refurbishment as some of the fixtures looked tired.
