Bad Points

Poor customer service. Failure to carry out instructions.


General Comments

I requested that Egg close my credit card account 2.5 months ago. So far they have not carried out this instruction. I have sent them about six separate messages asking them to do this and each time I have received a response indicating that the account will be closed. They initially said "it should take 17 working days", which seemed a long time, But they have failed to even make this time frame. A month ago they told me it had been closed, but I logged on and it hasn't. So far it has been in excess of 40 working days and no sign of them closing it. I have wasted an awful lot of time communicating with them so far.
