The attitude of Malaysian Airlines management is awful!!!!!!


General Comments


If anything goes wrong, their managers will not be able to rectify their problems. I booked our tickets on-line via their website. After receiving the tickets, I noticed that they had debited an incorrect amount from my credit card. I waited for them to contact me but after 10 days of waiting I contacted them only to be told that they knew about it and would shortly be debiting the correct amount. I asked them what date they would be doing it on and they gave me a date. I then contacted my bank to let them know and to ensure I had sufficient sums to allow the payment to go through ( I was in the midst of getting married and had a lot of payments to make) only to find that Malaysian Airlines management had already taken the amount!!!!!!
When I complained to the UK Manager - his response was arrogant & unhelpfull. A terrible start to our honeymoon
Their management and staff have poor customer service skills, are in my opinion happy to give poor customer service and arrogant and dismissive.
The flight:
Malaysian Airlines aircraft are old!
Old and not properly cleaned, when we boarded our flight the cabin smelled bad! Seatbacks are tattered, entertainment components don't always work and generally the feel is of an airline where the management have given up! The food onboard is cheap & bland. On the outward journey there was a lack of choice and the only choice I could have was the western option. The beef tasted full of fat and gristle and the whole meal was way too salty. Compare this to Thai airlines who I have flown with on many occasions and serve amazing gourmet meals!
If you want to eat well when flying on MAS, take your own food! The only good thing I have to say is that KLIA - Kuala Lumpur International Airport is the best airport I have ever visited. Easy to use, logically laid out, well sign posted and with a good array of shopping and eating outlets. Free wifi too!
