Very good suction to start with.


Bad Points

It is the worst buy I have ever made. Not happy with this product nor the lack of help from the company via their website. It promises contact within 72hrs which is a lot longer than any customer service site I know. However they have never contacted me at all.


General Comments

I've got a VAX V-091 Performance, the suction power decreases after 1 or 2 uses after vacuuming an average size through lounge ! Not impressed with this item at all. You have to manually clean the central filter after each use to keep up the suction. I feel there is a major design fault in that there is no housing on the filter so absolutely everything you vacuum goes directly to the filter, big and small pieces alike. Just started using it and realised the fault have contacted vax via their website. The site says they will respond within 72hrs am still waiting some 14 days later and 2 enquiries later. I refuse to pay money via their help line to enquire about this fault. By the way the instruction manual shows pictures of the central filter in a housing unit but there was no housing unit in the box. Anyone out their got a housing unit with theirs?
