Good Points

Good power, accurate, relalistic feel, good finish for plastic, shoots about all pellets I have including alloy.

Bad Points

Needed some fit work before it would shoot. Came with barrel loose and no wrench to tighten. Cylinder rotating on its own is a little anoying. Would not function until some finish work was done.

General Comments

O.K. If you get one and it does not work it would be my suggestion to send it back. I fixed mine just to see what the problem was, but I have been working on my own airguns for 10 years and if you are not experienced with high pressure systems or airguns you can easily hurt yourself.
From the package the barrel was loose and it could not even push a pellet out of the cylinder with a new Co2 cylinder installed. I was dissapointed but not supprised since I had read the reviews before I purchased it. It was on sale at cabela's and since this was a Gamo airgun I took the chance on getting a good one. It didn't take long to discover the hammer was dragging and not falling fast enough to open the valve and seal against the cylinder. I
It appears that after sitting in the carrying case for awhile the plastic side case warps slightly from the pressure of the foam and pinches the hammer against the Co2 valve generating enough drag to keep the hammer from hitting the valve stem hard enough. After I fixed the problem it instantly it shot like I was hoping. Can repeatly shoot a nickel at 10 yds, trigger feel is smooth, double action works great. Easily can sink a gamo hunter in a piece of white pine at 10 yds flush to the skirt. If it had worked from the box I would have rated it a 9.

I had the same problem and fixed it in the same manner. I had mine sitting around in storage for 2 years after the o-ring in the piercing neck fell out or disintergrated.

I just replaced the o-ring and had the hammer dragging on the internals just like you did. 15 minutes with a dremmmel fixed the issue and it's performing better than it was when I first brought it home from the gun show.
