The Crosman 795 is lightweight and easy to cock. The inner workings appear to be intelligently designed, and are improved from the traditional barrel-cocking guns.
The design features are rendered useless by the cheap materials: thin barrel encased in plastic. Mine came with a bent barrel so the rear sight could not be adjusted far enough to compensate. The trigger is atrociously heavy.
My Crosman 795 has become only a "project gun" . Though it voids the warranty I intend to disassemble it and tweak it. As I said its design features may be good, but they are defeated by the poor choice of shoddy materials. All to lower the cost, I suspect.
