We have just had a very bad experience with Easyjet and will never book with them ever again. In short last weekend we booked return flights from Luton to Spain for four people with two different surnames. Passport details are now required on flights into Spain and as our passports were not to hand last week we entered the details today, only to find that the surname of two of the passengers had been changed and we were all travelling under the same family name. We phoned customer services and was informed that as we had not printed our initial booking and therefore had no proof that the correct names were input in the first place, we had to pay for the two names to be altered. She would not accept that we didn't make an error at the time of booking; why would we input incorrect surnames! We looked at cancelling the reservation but would not be refunded so went ahead with making the changes. A charge of £20 for each passenger each way, plus the difference between the cost of the seat from last week to this, plus a credit card fee - a total of £99 for an error not of our making. This is on top of the £813 already paid - this in my opinion is not a low cost airline!
