ECU.
I bought a 206 exactly a week ago, i havnt had a day driving it. Sitting at traffic lights it cuts out, going round a roundabout it cuts out, I got my two kids out it fast. Took it to peugeot who told me the ECU (the brain) was gone and it would cost £951 plus vat to replace. The service manager was fantastic and gave me a garage in Kirkintilloch who repairs them even though he could be sacked for doing this, its getting repaired at a cost of £200, and at worst replaced at £300. Then its getting sold my kids are terrified of it, thank goodness the people who were driving behind me realised I was in bother or something more serious could have happened.
