Good Points

Nice looking car - fuel economy.


Bad Points

Very poor build and reliability.


General Comments

2002 Renault Laguna 1.9 Dci Sport, had nothing but trouble with the car from day one, ripped off bonnet open catch when looking at the car at garage! Front springs sheared, rear bushes competely worn, loosing water, no air con, no heat at all, squeeky seats, general rattles, tyre preasure electronics not working, sunroof leaking and pleases its self if it opens or not, electric windows please themselves, track rod ends worn, ball joints all replaced constantly, two new sets of tyres a year, card key broken, stearing lock solonoid burnt out and so on..... car is in the garage now, has been for 2 weeks due to the stearing lock problem, Renault can't tell me what the problem is with the stearing lock, just that when they have replaced it, it may be something else! So far the bill is around £700 and still not sorted and no real answers, Renault staff always give me that knowing look everytime I take the car in. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying a Laguna or any other Renault to think again, but my cars for sale soon if anyone wants to make me an offer!
