Full, fruity aroma leaps out of bottle as soon as opened. The flavour matches: it is overall full and rich but also very subtle with a note of citrus. Very smooth on the palate.
I can find nothing bad about this whisky: it is just what I expect a good blend to be.
I originally bought a bottle as a gift. Later, despite the fact that it is a fairly upmarket premium blend, I decided to buy a bottle for myself to check whether I had made a wise choice. By my standards I certainly had and was immediately hooked. This whisky should be drunk as though it were a fine cognac in a large inward curving glass to concentrate the bouquet accompanied if desired by a little spring water.
