Shower proof material and erm ... not much else
Where to start !!
rain hood completely useless,
foot cover that attatches to nothing
brakes that dont work no matter how hard you stamp on them
rediculous and extremely unsafe harness
the fact my £300 pram has wobbled and swayed to the point i thought i hadnt put it up properly since day 1 !
im gutted to say the least about this pram ... i bought this after saving hard for it as i wanted the best pram on the market for my 4th baby ... how wrong i was to buy this and am sorely tempted to sell it on ebay for a tenner .. or less !
i saw this pram in the mamas and papas showroom when i was only a few weeks pregnant and still in the exited eeek i need evrything stage ... i was impressed with the womans in store demonstration and fell in love with the trendy design of the pram and the fact it was both pram and push chair
then over the long months of pregnancy i viewed it online at mamas and papas a million times and eventually bought it just before my daughter was born in january this year
at first i couldnt fault it as we had it in pram position and it seemed fine ... until one day it rained suddenly when we were out .. the rainhood is difficult to zip around the hood on your first attempt as the zip is flimsy and seems to ruffle up so u have to unzip and start again ... all the while you baby is getting wet !!
i also noticed that the brakes would undo them selves evrytime i was on the bus ... sending the pram flying to the right or left in to bystanders ankles and shins ... even worse lurching forwards towards the doors
then we turned it in to a pushchair as the nicer weather arrived and suddenly at 3 months old my daughter weighing 11lb seemed extremely squashed in the pram position ....
now this is where all the problems start
we turned it in to pram and attempted to re attatch the foot cover .. which fitted fine on the pram .. suddenly it doesnt fit any more .. read and re read instructions 54 times .. still doesnt fit as doesnt seem to attatch to anything apart from a zip underneath so the sides flap around in the wind !
i then noticed the harness ... which i hadnt noticed in the shop .. and also all the pics online are cleverly taken so it looks like the back of the harness attatches to the pram .. when it doesnt .. at the moment its annoying as my daughter is only 3 mnths old and constantly slides to the side in the pram as she cant sit up yet ... and i dread to think what would happen if she was old enough to sit as im sure a baby would easily get jolted forward banging their mouth on the front bar and i will definately have purchased a new cheaper buggy by this point
the pram is also flimsy if thats the right word .. it just doesnt feel sturdy or long lasting ...
mams and papas claim you can fold this pram one handed!!! i cant do it with both hands its a nightmare .. plus you have to remove foot cover and rain hood before folding ... and dont evn attempt to fold it in pram position or you will end up so close to kicking it the length of asda car park
mamas and papas also claim its lightweight when folded ... it isnt .. having 4 children i have had countless prams and my twin buggy was actually lighter than the pliko
also dont ever attempt to put anything bigger than a small tangerine in the shopping basket or it or your hand or maybe both will become firmly wedged ... i made the mistake of popping a loaf of bread under the pram one day ... made lovely bread crumbs as i attempted to get it back out of the slot no bigger than my letter box
completely and utterly dissapointed with this pram and am copy and pasting this review to mamas and papas .. for what good it will do .. they have my £300 now and i have their useless yet trendy looking pram !
dont waste your money .. seriously ... theres a nice buggy in babies are us £80 with free footmuff .. that actually fits !! think what you could buy with the change !
