Good Points

Nice food, helpful staff, great if your German as it seems to be German orientated.


Bad Points

No water in pool, bar not open and room smelled dirty and room was dirty. Dont go for bed and breakfast here if you like a big breakfast as it is only continental!!!


General Comments

We stayed here at the start of the season May 08 and when we arrived it looked as though the place wasn't even open.... We were checked in and we went to the room which was overlooking the pool.. well I say pool but there was no water in it.
The room was on the dirty side and smelled musty, bathroom very basic with a shower curtain around the very small shower, we ended up having to go and buy air fresheners.
We decided to go out and investigate the area and by the beach which is when we found out that most of the beaches on the front are private beaches for the use of the all inclusive hotels around there, most of the bars were still getting ready to open and some cafe's didn't have stock of what was on the menu yet???
As most of the places seem to be all inclusive it could be very quiet at night down there as everyone would be in their own hotels getting drink and entertainment, don't get me wrong I like quiet but it's a different matter when its just two of you and a barman....
Anyway we began seeing signs that the pool may be going to be filled up when water came out of a pipe on he side of the pool, but this was from a well so we were told and could only be on for so long a day and I think they will still be filling it up at that rate, what did annoy me was that they decided to filter what water was in the pool by switching on the filter overnight as people were trying to get to sleep????? This was on for 7 hours NIGHTLY!!! Surely this should have all been done before any guests arrived !!!!!!!
Unless you like walking a long way, you will need to get a taxi into Hersonnisos and that will be about 7-8 Euros and that's where it starts getting a bit livelier and there are more shops to browse in..
